A very warm welcome is extended to you from everyone at St John’s Church of England Primary School. I am delighted to be able to welcome you to our school website. This website is intended to introduce you to our school if you are deciding which school to select for your child, are a new parent to the school, or an existing parent who wants to be kept up to date with information and events. I hope that our pages provide you with all the information that you need and also give you an insight into our school’s daily life.
The school has its own Nursery and is maintained by the Local Education Authority but, as we are a Church School, the daily act of Collective Worship is consistent with the faith and practice of the Church of England.
It is important that as parents/carers you feel welcome in the school. Education is a partnership between home and school based on trust and mutual respect. Good relationships between home and school help to ensure that our children reach their potential academically, spiritually, socially, morally and culturally.
St John’s Church of England Primary School is a caring school, which is continually striving to improve. We are a historic yet forward-thinking School, with a current maximum intake of 30 children in each year, our staff will do all they can to support your child by both cherishing them and challenging them to fulfil their potential.
We welcome visitors to our school, so should you wish to see us at work then please contact the office staff, who will arrange an appointment for you.
I look forward to meeting with you
(In the absence of Mr J.Harvey, Miss Withey is The Acting Headteacher)
